  • Payroll experience moved to the top
  • Summary rewritten from her work history
  • No employer, role or date invented

In short

A tailored resume for a submittal is a candidate's resume prepared for one job. ATS Pal moves the experience the job asks for to the top and rewords it. It invents no employer, role, date or number. A skill or a line can be worded from what the work history implies, so you review it before you send it.

How it works

From a chosen candidate to a document you can send.

It starts from an analysis you have already run.

  1. You choose the candidate

Open a candidate of a finished analysis and ask for a tailored resume for that job.

    • The cost is shown before you confirm
    • One candidate, one job
  2. The resume is reordered for the job

The experience that meets the requirements moves to the top, and the summary and the wording are adapted to the job from the candidate's work history.

    • No employer, role, date or number is invented
    • Employers and date ranges are kept
  3. You review and send

Download the document, read it, edit what you want, and send it to your client the way you always do.

    • Kept with the candidate, with its date
    • Download it again without a new request

Experience

Payroll specialist, 2019 to 2024. Ran biweekly payroll for 600 employees in ADP.

Accounts payable clerk, 2016 to 2019.

  1. The summary now opens with what this job asks for. Every fact in it is in the original: five years, ADP, 600 employees, year-end filing from 2020 to 2023.
  2. The payroll role moves above the earlier accounting role.
  3. What was already right for the job stays where it was. French is a requirement of this role, and it was on the resume.

Before you send it

The submittal is still yours.

ATS Pal prepares the document. Three things stay with you.

Read it with the candidate in mind

The candidate has to stand behind every line at the interview. If a line reads stronger than what they told you, change it back.

Put it in your own format

The result is a document you download and edit. Your agency template, your cover note and the contact details you show are your choice.

Send it yourself

Nothing goes to your client from ATS Pal. You send the resume the way you send every submittal.

Scope

What it does, and where it stops.

It does

  • Moves the experience the job asks for to the top.
  • Adapts the summary and the wording to the job, from the candidate's work history.
  • Keeps employers and date ranges.
  • Keeps the result with the candidate, to download again.

It does not

  • Invent an employer, a role, a date or a number.
  • Apply your agency template or remove contact details.
  • Send anything to your client.
  • Replace your own read of the document.

Questions people ask

Can a tailored resume say something the candidate did not write?

In its wording, yes. Employers, dates and numbers are not invented, and no role is added. A job title can be adjusted to the job, a skill the work history implies can be named, and a line can be written for a requirement of the job that the history supports. Read it before you send it, and remove what the candidate would not say.

Which candidates is this for?

The ones you have chosen to send to a client. It works on a candidate of a finished analysis, for the job of that analysis.

Can I edit the result?

Yes. You download the document and edit it like any other.

What if I need it again later?

A tailored resume stays with the candidate in the analysis, with its date, and you can download it again without a new request.

What does it cost?

Each tailored resume uses 3 credits. You see this before you confirm, and no credit is used if the request fails.

What is a credit?

A credit is a unit of processing. Each plan gives every job post a number of credits, and each kind of work uses a set number of them. The tailored resume, the LinkedIn profile check and the LinkedIn search show their cost before you confirm them. The pricing page lists what each plan includes and what each service uses.

Why do I not see it in my account?

The service is turned on per account. Ask us through the contact page and we turn it on for your account.
