In short

The hiring team features of ATS Pal let a recruiter share a role with hiring managers, record the result of each interview stage, and set what each role on the team may do. A hiring manager sees only what is shared with them. Working with a colleague needs a seat for that person, so it starts on the Scale plan.

How it works

From your shortlist to a decision.

Three steps, each done by the person it belongs to.

  1. You share the role

Pick the hiring managers, and choose what they see: only the candidates you approved, or all of them. Add a note to a candidate if you want it read.

    • A person sees only what is shared with them
    • Your notes travel with the candidate
  2. The hiring manager reviews

They read each candidate with the reasons behind the score, mark who they have reviewed and record their decision.

    • The same reasons you saw
    • A decision is recorded with the name of the person
  3. Each interview stage gets its result

After an interview, the result of that stage is recorded on the candidate, so the next person knows where things stand.

    • One line per stage
    • Filter the list by stage and result

Scope

What it does, and where it stops.

It does

  • Shares a role with the people you pick, at the level you pick.
  • Shows a hiring manager the reasons behind each score.
  • Records who reviewed and who decided.
  • Keeps the result of each interview stage on the candidate.

It does not

  • Show a hiring manager anything you did not share.
  • Contact candidates or schedule interviews.
  • Replace the pipeline of your ATS.
Plans

Sharing needs a seat for each person.

The number of seats is the limit.

Launch
1 seat. One person runs the analyses; there is nobody to share with.
Scale
Up to 3 seats, for example a recruiter and two hiring managers.
Enterprise
Seats set to the size of your team.

Full details are on the pricing page.

Questions people ask

What does a hiring manager see?

Only the roles shared with them, and in each role only what you chose to share: the candidates you approved, or all of them. They do not see your other roles.

Does a hiring manager need a seat?

Yes. Each person who signs in uses a seat. Launch has 1 seat, Scale has up to 3, and Enterprise is set to your team.

Can a hiring manager decide on a candidate?

By default, yes. A hiring manager can mark a candidate as reviewed and record a decision. An owner or an admin can narrow what the role may do.

Can I change what a role may do?

An owner or an admin can narrow what the recruiter and hiring manager roles may do in your organisation. A role can never be given more than the table on this page shows.

Does this replace the pipeline in my ATS?

No. ATS Pal works next to your ATS. Interview stages here record who was interviewed and with what result, next to the analysis that explains why the candidate was chosen.
